Statute – University and UCU joint statement
Update on reforms to Statute VII procedures.
UCU and the University have been negotiating for some time over reforms to Statute VII procedures, which apply to academic and academic related staff, and cover matters such as the resolution of grievances, and the handling of disciplinary and dismissal cases. Following feedback from UCU’s National Ratification Panel, the University's and UCU's negotiators will hold a further meeting to discuss outstanding points of disagreement. Final proposals will be taken to the University Council for approval in March 2017.
