The first edition of the QS Graduate Employability Rankings, which look at the links between university practices and how employable its graduates are, ranked 300 universities from across the world.

Robert Partridge, Director of Student Opportunity, said:

“The QS index positions us well within the UK and internationally. Most students choose to study at university with the aim of improving their job prospects and so an employability ranking on this scale is helpful.

“If you measure the number of students in graduate jobs six months after they have graduated, the University of Leeds has improved year on year: 95.2% of our graduates are now employed or in further study within six months.”
