What do universities spend their money on?

Universities UK has produced a new, interactive explainer showing how English universities spend their money, and how investment benefits students.

Only 37% of full-time undergraduate students in the UK believe that they get value for money in return for their £9,000 course fees according to the latest Student Academic Experience Survey by the Higher Education Policy Institute and Higher Education Academy.  75% want more information about how their tuition fees are spent.

In response to these figures, Universities UK has produced an online, interactive explainer aimed at students and their parents.  The aim is to show how investment in teaching, research and other areas benefits students.

Take a look at the explainer on the Universities UK website.
