Putting present policy into past context
Leeds has entered into a three-year partnership with influential network, History & Policy.
History & Policy is a national network of over 500 academic historians which aims to help opinion formers and public policymakers avoid reinventing the wheel and repeating past mistakes by providing them with historical background and context for current issues. It provides open access to high-quality historical research and creates opportunities for historians to connect with policymakers and journalists.
The partnership will enable Leeds researchers to benefit from History & Policy's relationships with government departments and third-sector bodies. Researchers from a wide range of disciplines, including history, education, and politics and international studies, may increase the impact of their research by working with the organisation.
