During his visit, the Lord Mayor of London met business leaders from across the city region to discuss economic growth, job creation and Leeds strengths in financial services, technology and skills development.
The event brought guests together to discuss themes of shared interest such as the implications of Brexit, plans for future relations with the European Union and the relevance this has to city partners of the Northern Powerhouse project.
The dinner was also an opportunity to consider how regional partners and the City of London can work together to make a strong contribution to both productivity demands and address the country-wide challenges of inequality.
