Bright Beginnings Nursery is Outstanding

Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre has received an Outstanding Ofsted report in all areas after its recent inspection.

The inspectors, who visited in March were full of praise for the centre, which they described as “extremely welcoming and highly inclusive.”

The glowing report commended managers and staff, describing the team as “determined and inspirational in their pursuit of the highest quality of care and education for children” and passionate “children are at the heart of everything” they do.

Dennis Hopper, Director of Facilities Management and Chair of Bright Beginnings Board, commented: “The progress the Centre has made since opening in 2010 has been exceptional and this Outstanding Ofsted report is testament to the continued commitment and hard work of the team.”

The centre’s partnership with parents was also judged Outstanding, with parents expressing their delight at the quality of provision and their confidence in staff who “demonstrate a love and enthusiasm for their children that mirrors their own.”

Outdoor provision was also commended, with inspectors recognising that the centre’s staff “provide a wealth of exciting outdoor experiences which are a central entitlement for all children in this centre” and that they “skilfully use varied outdoors spaces to excite children and enrich their understanding of nature and the world around them.”

Bright Beginnings provides a welcome and safe environment for University staff and students children, it can accommodate up to 168 children from 3 months to 5 years. Perspective parents can register for a place at any time. Tours of the centre take place every third Friday and can be booked by contacting the Centre.

The Centre prides itself on having no waiting list, this means parents can register their children along with a desired start date and will receive a confirmation four months before their requested start date.
