Join the World Triathlon Series in Leeds

Leeds will welcome the worlds elite triathletes to the ITU World Triathlon Series this weekend as part of the Columbia Threadneedle World Triathlon Leeds. The event will attract Britains best male and female triathletes, as well as welcoming hundreds of spectators to the City.
The University has been instrumental in enabling this major event to take place, as a result of its key partnership with British Triathlon, and Leeds Beckett University, in the world renowned Leeds Triathlon Centre.
Some of the big names that the City will be cheering for at the event, who have strong ties with the Leeds Triathlon Centre and the University, include Olympic hopefuls, Jonny and Alistair Brownlee, Non Stanford and Vicky Holland, along with University of Leeds alumnus Tom Bishop and current student Gordon Benson.
Weekend Road Closures
As the momentum starts to build for this event, please remember that there will be significant road closures in place throughout the City Centre during this time. Road closures within the city centre will be in place from midnight on Saturday 11 June until midnight on Sunday 12 June.
