The Leeds Social Sciences Institute (LSSI) has launched a series of videos exploring some of its research highlights.

Each of the videos features an interview with a researcher carrying out interdisciplinary research in social sciences.  Each talks about an object that symbolises their research interests: including a Paddington Bear book and a cup full of soil.

Three videos have been published on the LSSI website so far:

  • Professor Adam Crawford talks to Professor Teela Sanders about the impact of Maggie O'Neill's Prostitution and Feminism on her research
  • Professor Paul Routledge talks to Dr Louise Waite about how Paddington Bear sparked her research into forced migration
  • Professors Adam Crawford, Paul Routledge and Jennifer Tomlinson talk about social sciences at Leeds and the role of the LSSI

More videos featuring Professor Anna Lawson, Dr Mark Davis, and Professors Andrew Brown and Paul Chatterton will be published during April.
