Summer is nearly here and there’s no better season for having fun in the sun right here on campus! This year’s staff festival theme ‘Country fair in the city’ features an exciting programme of fine local fayre, music, workshops, competitions and entertainment for all ages.

All University staff, family and friends are invited to join us for an enjoyable afternoon and a tantalising taste of the very best the local countryside has to offer.

You can begin to get involved now by nominating a charity as the official Festival charity. Your chosen charity must:

  • be a registered charity

  • not already have been the Staff Festival official charity*

Email your nomination to stafffestival@leeds.ac.uk  by 5pm on Wednesday 20 April.  Please include in your email:

  • your name
  • your department
  • your nominated charity
  • the reason for your nomination
