This year's categories are:

  • Water in and around Leeds - Help us celebrate water@leeds' home, with shots from in and around the city
  • Water and Nature - a popular category from last year with some amazing wildlife photography as well as flowers and landscapes
  • Water in the City - share with us images from your home city or maybe from a visit to somewhere warmer!
  • Research in Water - if you're involved with any kind of water related research, we'd love to see photos of any fieldwork or other research trips
  • Water and Landscape - whether local or abroad, share your best landscape shots featuring water
  • Flooding and Drought - the recent turbulent weather has seen a huge rise in both flooding and drought across the globe. Whether affected by the weather in your hometown, or from somewhere further afield, share any images capturing these extreme weather conditions.
