Funeral notices
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the recent deaths of Dr Anthony Carrigan, Mr George Alexander, and Emeritus Professor Romaine Hervey.
Dr Anthony Carrigan, Lecturer in Postcolonial Literature and Cultures since September 2013. The funeral service will be held at 3.20pm on Friday 11 March at The Old Chapel, Manchester Crematorium, Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton, M21 7GZ.
Mr George Alexander, former porter in the Medical and Dental Library (1994-2001) and in Estate Services (2001-09). The funeral service will be held at 12.20pm on Monday 14 March at Lawnswood Crematorium, Otley Road, Leeds, LS16 8AA.
Emeritus Professor Romaine Hervey, former Professor of Physiology (1967-89) and Head of Department (1967-78). The funeral service will be held at 2.00pm on Wednesday 16 March at St Thomas Church, St Thomas Street, Wells, BA5 2UZ.
The flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast on the days of the funerals in their memory.
