Research presentation opportunity

Present your 3 minute thesis to the public as part of the University’s Be Curious Festival.

The Staff and Departmental Development Unit (SDDU) is organising a Research Slam activity as part of the Be Curious Festival on Saturday 19 March.

You can use words, a song, props, jokes, music or any combination of these in your three minute presentation.

Dr Sam Illingworth, an excellent science communicator, will offer training for a full day on Thursday 3 March, followed by a half say rehearsal on Tuesday 15 March. To take part in the training you must be available to take part on Saturday 19 March – and potentially give more than one performance depending on how many others want to perform

To sign up, please email skillstraining@leeds.ac.uk as there are only 20 places available.
