Ann Meredith
Ann Meredith has been appointed as the University’s Director of Professional and Organisational Development and will take up her post on 15 February.
Ann has spent over 20 years in learning and development roles, in organisations including the University of Oxford and the NHS. She is currently Head of Professional Learning and Development at Nottingham Trent University, where she has responsibility for supporting and delivering strategically aligned staff development across the whole organisation. Ann will be responsible for a broad range of development activity when she takes up her post and will lead the Staff and Departmental Development Unit (SDDU). Building on our work to invest in the development of our people will be a key focus of Ann's role and this will result in a re-launch of our staff development provision later this year.
Ann is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, where she studied Business Studies. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning Support in Higher Education and an MA in Education.
