Car parking update
Colleagues are reminded about some of the changes now in operation as a result of the opening of the multi-storey car park.

All staff wishing to use the University car parks both inside and outside of core hours need to register the number plates of their vehicle(s) in advance.
During core hours (7am-5pm, Monday-Friday) only cars with permits or pre-booked day packages can park. However, outside of core hours, staff can park for free in the multi-storey car park and Orange zone as long as the vehicle is registered.
Day parking packages now
available
Staff can
purchase a range of day parking packages, offering a considerable saving,
which can be used to book car parking spaces on campus in advance. These are a
great, flexible alternative to a full permit and booking and cancelling can be
done easily online.
Weekend and evening use of multi-storey and Orange Zone
Out of core hours (7am5pm, MondayFriday), staff without a parking permit
can park for free within the multi-storey car park and Orange Zone. To do this,
vehicles must be registered in advance; more details can be found in the car parking guide.
Department visitor parking
Visitor parking during core parking hours (7am5pm, MondayFriday), must be
booked in advance using the online
parking system.
Public parking
Outside core parking hours (7am5pm, MondayFriday), parking tariffs are in
place for members of the public to use the multi-storey and Orange Zone car
parks. Pay stations are available across the Orange Zone site. More information
can be found in the car parking guide.
More information is available online.
