During her time on campus, Dame Sally was introduced to some of our University Academic Fellows and attended a lunch hosted by Sir Alan Langlands, our Vice-Chancellor. She also saw a number of presentations from Academic-NHS Research Partnerships, including the Leeds Academic Health Partnership, the MRC Centre for Medical Bioinformatics – part of the Leeds Institute of Data Analytics – and the Leeds Biomedical Research Centre.

Later in the day, a packed audience heard Dame Sally talk frankly about her role and the future challenges and priorities posed by the public health agenda.
