Linking to the much anticipated COP21, Sustainability is looking to gather stories and experiences of climate change from the Leeds community.

This could be any kind of ‘experience’; from encounters with extreme weather, to how climate change has affected the way you see the world and the actions you take. Please write creatively, whilst portraying how climate change has affected you personally.

Sustainability is looking for a wide range of stories to represent the global community here at Leeds. Stories should be between 250–1,000 words; submissions will close on Friday 18 December, a week after COP21.

This competition is open to staff, students and the general public. A selection of the best stories will be compiled to create an anthology of experiences from Leeds, and the two best writers will get tickets to the annual Sustainability Awards dinner.
