Studying in a digital age

The module, which is entirely online, will support students with digital literacy. It will be showcased at an event where Directors of Student Education and Pro-Deans gather to discuss the University’s Student Education priorities for the year, to encourage more Schools to take the module next year. It will also be showcased at the SEC (Student Education Conference) in January.

Professor Neil Morris, Director of Digital Learning at the University, said: “The development of this innovative and ground-breaking module has been truly collaborative, involving colleagues from the Digital Learning Team, VLE team, IT teams, Library, SDDU (Staff and Departmental Development Unit), Careers, Examinations, QAT (Quality Assurance Team), SES (Student Education Service) and Faculty and School staff.”

He added: “I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. I think the module that has been created is a fantastic illustration of the quality of the University and the dedication of the staff who work so hard to enhance the student experience.”
