Emeritus Professor Harold B Mattingly
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 23 August 2015, of Emeritus Professor Harold Mattingly, aged 92, and formerly Professor of Ancient History between 1970 and 1987.
There will be a private family funeral on 11 September, on which day the flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast in Professor Mattingly’s memory. There is to be a memorial held in Cambridge on 31 October 2015. Any enquiries about this should be directed to mattinglys@ntlworld.com
