Number one spot for Business School masters

LUBS's MSc Accounting and Finance programme is ranked number one in the world for the second consecutive year, according to the 2015 Financial Times Masters in Finance Pre-Experience rankings.

The prestigious league table also recognises the Business School’s commitment to employability and professional development.

The School is placed 5th in the UK (20th globally) for ‘careers’ which measures the career status of our alumni three years after graduation, according to seniority and company size. This leading position endorses the success of the programme in providing students with the qualification and skills to quickly climb the corporate ladder after graduation. Our students are also getting jobs soon after their studies, with a strong majority of the most recent graduating class employed within three months.

Programme Director for MSc Accounting and Finance, Dr Konstantinos Bozos stated: "We are delighted that our MSc Accounting and Finance programme has once again been ranked amongst the world’s top 50 finance programmes. It is remarkable that an accounting programme can compete against the world’s top finance programmes. These rankings confirm our position, once again, as the top Accounting and Finance programme in the world."

Dean of Leeds University Business School, Professor Peter Moizer said: "I am delighted that the Business School is ranked alongside the world’s best institutions. Our position highlights that our students receive a world class educational experience from a team of internationally renowned academics."
