Undergraduate students from the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Europe will live and learn in Leeds for four weeks (3 July – 2 August), while earning 20 Leeds credits towards their home degree.

LISS students study two modules from a choice of 12.

New modules for 2015 are:

  • ‘Music in Film’
  • ‘Introduction to Robotics and Autonomous Systems’
  • ‘Entrepreneurship and Society: Ideas, Opportunities and Value Creation’.

Outside of study, LISS students will also take part in a packed social and cultural programme where they will have the opportunity to get to know Leeds and take trips around the UK to destinations including York, Whitby, Bolton Abbey and London.

At the end of the programme students will take part in an employability seminar to discuss the skills they have developed during LISS and to explore how their study abroad experience will benefit them after they leave Leeds. Students will also hear about Postgraduate study opportunities at Leeds.
