Contribute to a British Academy research project
The British Academy wants to find out about individuals' experiences of interdisciplinary research in higher education.
It is asking academics, university managers, funders and publishers about their experiences of working across disciplines. It will investigate:
- how interdisciplinary research is carried out
- the demand for interdisciplinary research and skills
- how academics can forge interdisciplinary careers
- whether the right structures are in place to support interdisciplinarity across the research and higher education system
It will also investigate relations between teaching and research and between universities and external organisations.
The University is encouraging staff to contribute to the project: please send a copy of your submission to Annette Caplan.
