New Director of Human Resources
Francesca Fowler - currently at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) - has been appointed as the University's Director of Human Resources with effect from 1 October 2015.
Francesca is currently the Director of Organisational Development and Business Improvement at NTU, responsible for all Human Resources services, and for the leadership of a number of university-wide programmes designed to enhance organisational performance and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Before joining NTU in 2001, Francesca developed her career in the food industry, culminating in a period of seven years as Director of Human Resources for a major division of Northern Foods plc.
Francesca is a graduate from the School of English at the University of Leeds, holds a Postgraduate Diploma in personnel management and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. She is currently a Board member of ‘One Nottingham’ a city development agency; a member of the Board of Governors of Nottingham High School and a former member of the HEFCE Leadership, Governance and Management Strategic Advisory Board.
