Easter switch off
To help us continue to reduce our carbon emissions, we're asking you to take some time to turn off equipment and lighting for this year's Easter shutdown.
Switching off during University closure periods reduces unnecessary energy use and plays an important role in reducing our annual carbon emissions. As an example, during the last Christmas shutdown period, the Worsley building alone saved as much electricity as the Student Counselling Centre uses for a whole year.
We understand that some equipment cannot be turned off, but appreciate you making the effort to turn off what you can.
Thank you for your cooperation.Posted in: University news
