Try Cycling 2015
Colleagues are invited to borrow a bike for five weeks – with helmet, lights and lock provided, along with free cycle training, route advice and general assistance.
The first stage of the UTravelActive cycling scheme begins on Monday 23 February.
Bikes are available in sizes small to large, with a choice of normal, electronic and folding bikes.
Due to the limited number of bikes, once the scheme is fully booked, any colleagues whose application was unsuccessful will be automatically registered for the next stage of the scheme which starts on Monday 13 April.
The scheme is designed to give staff at the University, Leeds Beckett University and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust an opportunity to have a go at riding a bike with all the support they need.
