Professor Park Honan, MA, PhD
Colleagues will be very sorry to learn of the death, on 27 September 2014, of Emeritus Professor Park Honan, formerly of the School of English.
After a long and varied career, Professor Honan joined the University in 1984 as Professor of English and American Literature, a position he held until his retirement in 1993.
A humanist memorial ceremony will be held for Professor Honan at noon on Tuesday 7 October 2014 at Left Bank Leeds, Cardigan Road, Leeds, LS6 1LJ. Anybody wishing to attend this service is asked to contact Helen Pickersgill in the Secretariat (0113 34) 34036 by noon on Friday 3 October.
The flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at
half-mast in memory of Professor Honan on 7 October.
