British Science Association trustees wanted
The British Science Association is inviting applications for a new intake of externally appointed trustees to help achieve its new mission.

The Association has a number of upcoming vacancies for externally appointed trustees to join its governing body (Council). They are looking for individuals who are passionate about the role of science in society to help guide, promote, and govern the Association at this time of change and transition.
The appointments committee is particularly keen to hear from people with expertise or interests in the following areas:
Non-scientists with a lay but demonstrable interest in making links between science and broader culture
Individuals with experience in business, industry, and finance particularly, but not exclusively, in a scientific context
Scientists with a passion for communicating science to a wider audience, and particularly in giving people who aren't professional scientists a greater role in the future of science and scientific debates
Individuals with leadership qualities, to fill an upcoming vacancy for Chair of Trustees
