Central Village Residences

The University will shortly be completing the purchase of Central Village Residences, providing 980 en-suite rooms for the exclusive use of our students.

The investment, which is self-financing, underlines the University’s commitment to provide first class residential accommodation which will enhance our students’ experience.

A first phase of the Central Village Residences has been leased by the University since 2012 and a second phase development is due to complete in time for the new intake of students in September.

It is expected that Downing’s, who currently operate and manage the residences, will continue to provide customer-facing services until July 2015, after which this will be undertaken by the University.
