The Leeds Ball - restricted access to campus
Leeds University Union will be holding the Leeds Ball on campus this Saturday 7 June.

More than 5,000 students will attend the Ball to enjoy a programme of entertainment including live music, DJs, stalls, and fairground rides and games. The event will start at 9pm and finish at 6am on Sunday 8 June.
The event site extends from the Michael Sadler building through to the bridge on University Road (shown on this pdf map).
There are a number of central areas which the event will make use of including:
- University Road
- University Square
- the precinct and central green area
- Clothworkers Court area.
Clothworkers' Court will be closed between 5.30pm and 9pm on Friday 6 June.
The precinct directly outside the Leeds University Union building will be closed on Friday 6 June from 9am until 3pm. Nearby buildings, namely:
- the Refectory
- Beechgrove House
- Clothworkers Building South
- Psychology
- University House
On Saturday 7 June the buildings in the area will be accessible to staff up to 6pm on presentation of their staff identity card. Any member of staff wishing to access the site after 6pm should contact the security office on 35494 or call in to the security office at 183 Woodhouse Lane.
There is likely to be some congestion on campus near the taxi ranks and drop off points at Cromer Terrace, University Road entrance and outside the Parkinson building.
