Professor David S Robinson, BSc, PhD, FIFST
Colleagues will be very sorry to learn of the death, on 9 April 2014, of Professor David Robinson, former Procter Professor of Food Science.
Professor Robinson was appointed to his post, and to the Headship of the Procter Department of Food and Leather Science, in 1974, a post he held until 1994. He retired in 1998.
The funeral service will take place at 11.00am on 24 April 2014 at St Andrew's Church, Preston Road, Weymouth, followed by the burial at Wyke Regis Cemetery. The wake will be held at Portland Heights Hotel.

In Professor Robinson’s memory, the flag on the Parkinson Building will be flown at half-mast on the day of the funeral.
