Communicating science - discuss it, discover it, do it

Bookings are open and earlybird rates still available for the British Science Association's 2014 Science Communication Conference.

This annual event addresses the key issues facing science communication and communicators in the UK, bringing together over 300 of the UK's top science communicators to share ideas and best practice, as well as network with people from a range of professional and academic backgrounds.  The delegates are a real mix including those who work in science centres and museums, charities, universities, policymaking, media & press, schools outreach and education, plus researchers who are interested in science communication.

The University of Surrey is hosting the Conference.  It is a great opportunity to learn new skills to communicate your research, meet new people and share ideas. The British Science Association is working in partnership with the Wellcome Trust to deliver this event.

For researchers interested in developing their public engagement skills, there are bursaries available and applications close on Friday 28 March.

Visit the conference website.
