Lifetime achievement award for Leeds professor
Emeritus Professor of Educational Psychology, Dennis Child OBE, has received the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award from the British Psychological Society's Psychology of Education Board.
Professor Child has made a significant contribution to psychology applied to education over many years, and was described by one of his nominators as a true educator who speaks directly to the student and always begins the educational encounter “where the student is at”.
