Help us find this year's Intercultural Ambassadors

We are looking for students who would make excellent Intercultural Ambassadors. Do you know anyone who stands out as having the potential to connect and inspire their fellow students?

The Intercultural Ambassadors Programme, run by the University in partnership with Leeds University Union, is a volunteering opportunity for UK and International students which aims to connect UK and International students from different cultural backgrounds; to increase participation in intercultural activity on campus; and to facilitate students’ development of global employability skills.

As well as benefitting from the programme as individuals, Ambassadors will receive training and support to create and develop their own intercultural activities which will enrich the experience of their fellow students.

This opportunity is open to taught and research students in any year of study.

No previous intercultural/ international experience is required.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 23 October 2013.

Please direct your students to the global community website for further details and the application form.

For further information about the Intercultural Ambassadors Programme or the Global Community Project please contact Katy Manns.
