Fracture risk assessment for staff
Following the bone density screening in June, the Occupational Health Service has arranged for fracture risk assessments using an ultrasound scanner to be available for University staff.

The test, which will be carried out by OsteoCare East Midlands, is safe, accurate and painless, and the results are given immediately along with lifestyle advice. All that is needed from staff on the day is a bare foot & the fee of £20 (payable by cash or cheque).
The appointment takes about 15-20 minutes and will take place on Wednesday 11 September 2013 in the Basement Meeting Room, Wellbeing Safety and Health , 5-9 Willow Terrace Road. For further information on the screening please visit www.osteocare.org.uk and www.nos.org.uk.
