Workshops at the Staff Festival 2013
You can book your place in advance for the following workshops:
Opera North workshop (£5) - 4.30pm–6.00pm
Great fun and definitely no experience necessary. Sing iconic opera and songs from the shows with soprano Sue Lees and bass-baritone David Owen-Lewis. Book through the online store.
Pottery painting workshops (£5) - 3.30pm–5pm OR 5.30pm–7pm
Come along and create a mug as unique as you are! All materials provided - just bring your own inspiration! This workshop is suitable for adults and children.
Learn to knit taster workshops (£3) 5.30pm
Learn all the basics in one easy session: knit one, purl one, cast on and cast off, change yarn in, weave in... as well as how to read the information that comes on a ball of yarn! Book through the online store.
Introduction to Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage (Free)– Learn the basics of aromatherapy oils and traditional Indian Head Massage techniques. Email Jenna Hudson or call ext 34161 for more information and to book your place.
Beer Tasting workshop (£3). Come along to sample a range of tasty beers! Winners who identify all of the beers correctly will go into a prize draw to win a box all for themselves! Places are available for over 18s at £3 each either by emailing Simon Jenkins beforehand or sign up on the day.
