Leeds Security Operations Manager selected to represent UK universities
Malcolm Dawson has been awarded a highly competitive scholarship to represent the Association of University Chief Security Officers (AUCSO) in the US.

The scholarship will enable Malcolm to spend five days at Georgia Tech University in Atlanta experiencing university security US-style as part of AUCSOs first ever international exchange programme with the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators. He will also be hosting the exchange partner and other AUCSO members here at Leeds later this year.
In Malcolms winning essay he included references to various current University of Leeds crime prevention initiatives, including Project Immobilise, Operation Optimal, the employment of a full-time University Police Officer, and the relocation of Belle Vue Police Station to the University Campus.
