L'Oreal-UNESCO Fellowships For Women in Science

Fifteen $40,000 fellowships are available to young women carrying out research in life sciences as part of the For Women In Science partnership between the L’Oréal Corporate Foundation and UNESCO.

The UNESCO-L’Oréal International Fellowships are designed to indentify and reward deserving, committed and talented young women scientists, from all over the world, active in the field of life sciences.

Candidates must already be engaged in pursuing research at the doctoral or post-doctoral level in one or allied fields of life sciences including, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, agriculture, medicine, pharmacy and physiology.

This partnership was formed in 1998, and to date 195 young women from 83 countries have benefited from the fellowship. In addition to the financial support, the Fellows enter the unparalleled global community of over 1,700 women who have been recognized or supported by the For Women in Science programme.
