Represent your faculty or area

The Support Staff Advisory Group – which helps non-union, clerical, technical and operational colleagues to address institutional important issues – is still seeking new members.

An initial request for volunteers attracted a good response, but volunteers to sit on the Support Staff Advisory Group (SSAG) are still needed. In particular, SSAG hopes to recruit colleagues to represent the following faculties:

  • Biological Sciences
  • Leeds University Business School
  • Mathematics and Physical Sciences
  • Medicine and Health
  • Performance, Visual Arts and Communications

SSAG contributes to discussions about important University issues. It has existed for more than 12 years, and in that time has helped to bring about change in areas such as staff wellbeing, transport, parking, long-service recognition and health and safety.

If you are interested in representing your faculty or area on SSAG, please contact Professor Dawn Freshwater by email. You can also informally discuss membership of the group with Robert Finch (35242) or Moyra Culbert (33360).
