Spring into Summer at the Lifelong Learning Centre

If so, the Lifelong Learning Centre at the University is delighted to welcome you to their six-week programme of learning-for-pleasure courses, Spring into Summer.

Have you ever wanted to find out more about visual art and the artworks on display in museums and galleries? What about discovering more about the world of gods, heroes, monsters and supernatural women in Medieval Scandinavia? Perhaps you are interested in exploring what makes a film funny or unlocking your inner creative writer.

The stimulating Spring into Summer programme includes courses on art, creative writing, culture, film, language, literature and religion and are aimed at adults of any age who are keen to widen their interests, develop their creativity or increase their cultural knowledge.

Daytime and evening courses will run on the University of Leeds campus starting in the week beginning 3 June. Each six-week course costs £36 with a concessionary fee available of £18. In addition, this year’s programme includes two free information sessions for adults who may be interested in studying at university but want to find out more.

The Spring into Summer programme is a public engagement event so please do pass the information onto your friends, family and wider networks.

Registrations will open at 10am on Tuesday 16 April and places are limited so early booking is advised.
