How can universities support staff and students experiencing mental health difficulties?

The higher education Equality Challenge Unit (ECU) is surveying staff and students across the UK higher education sector to gain a better understanding of mental health issues.

The survey will look, in particular, at how universities can:

  • develop an environment which encourages staff and students to let their university know that they are experiencing mental health difficulties and receive targeted support
  • ensure that their courses, work environment, facilities, and services are accessible to students experiencing mental health difficulties
For more information about the project, see the ECU website.

Please support this work by completing the survey, which should only take 10-15 minutes.

The survey will close on Friday 12 April 2013.
