University careers service 'highly commended'
The University was highly commended for its Professional Services Scheme in the Best Public Sector Placement category at the annual National Council of Work Experience Awards on Tuesday.
The Careers Centre also nominated social enterprise 'A View from a Hill' which is part of the company 'Biskit' for 'Work Placement of the Year - as Nominated by a Careers Adviser, Jobshop or Placement Tutor' who went on to win their category.
These annual awards are designed to reward UK employers who offer outstanding placement opportunities and encourage work experience and graduate internship opportunities.
