Smashing the 'Shwopping' record
The ‘Shwop at Work’ collection last week was a great success, with staff shwopping 47 bags in just three hours – that's 17 bags more than the previous record! A big thank you to all contributors.
Both the Sustainability team and Facilities did a great job of making sure that all of the logistics worked perfectly and helped to create a real buzz across campus.
All donated clothes were given to Oxfam to be resold, reused or recycled. Nothing will go to landfill and the money raised will go to support people living in poverty.
