Meeting the challenges of work and life mindfully

The Staff Counselling and Psychological Support Service regularly run 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at Work courses, and also hold taster sessions for staff who are new to Mindfulness.

Mindfulness is a form of attention and awareness which training reduces the negative effects of stress and improves self-management and personal effectiveness.

Mindfulness at work is being introduced in high places, with a programme at the World Economic Forum in Davos, and one for MPs in Parliament beginning in March.  Read some recent articles about mindfulness from the Telegraph, BBC, and Guardian.
