Felt Feelings: Felting workshop inspired by the Yorkshire landscape
The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery's popular felting workshop will return on Saturday 16 February, inspired by the warm colours and layered texture of Christopher P. Wood's mystical landscapes.
The Gallery is delighted to join 'World Unite', Leeds University Union's annual celebration of international cultures. Representing the great Republic of Yorkshire, they invite you to get that warm and fuzzy feeling in their ever-popular felting workshop, led by Hayley McColl.
Visitors of all ages are invited to learn basic felt-making techniques, and recreate Christopher P. Wood's enigmatic Yorkshire-inspired landscapes in the Gallery's current exhibition
This workshop will take place:
At: 2-4pm
In: The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery
Suitable for ages 8+
The event is free, but places are limited so please book your place in advance online, via email, or by telephone (x32778).
