Equality information on staff and student population

For the second year running, the University has published equality information on its students and staff population.

This information can be used in a variety of ways: for example, as a tool to understand the representation and diversity of staff and students at the University, or to provide evidence to support the identification of activity to improve the student and staff experience.

The information published by the University last year was cited as an example of good practice in how well public authorities (including universities) have met their legal requirements under the Public Sector Equality Duty by The Equality and Human Rights Commission.

The information, and information on the University’s equality objectives can be found on the Equality Service website.
