Christmas Week in the Union
Experience Christmas all week long next Monday 3 December to Friday 7 December as a variety of festive stalls and events take place in and around the Union.
The Foyer will be buzzing with Christmas cheer, hot chocolate, fake snow, Christmas jumpers and Christmas fairs! The week will kick off with an outdoor Christmas themed farmers market followed by games and competitions, carols and panto, a two day Christmas fair and Santa is also due to make an appearance.
Activities will be ongoing all week but here’s an outline of the events you won’t want to miss:
Monday 3 - Christmas Farmers Market
Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 - Christmas games and crafts in the Foyer and Christmas carols from LUU Societies.
Thursday 6 - Christmas fair in the Union building from 10am – 4pm. Stalls will include everything from jewellery, vintage fashion, hats, crafts, cosmetics, chilli sauces, plants, Christmas decorations, gourmet marshmallows and brownies.
Friday 7 - Day two of the Christmas fair from 10am – 4pm. A great chance to pick up some last minute presents and the Salvation Army will also be putting on a Christmas performance from 12.30 - 1.30pm in the Foyer.
Get over during your lunch and get into the Christmas spirit!
