Repositioning the climate change debate

Internationally influential environmentalist and writer Jonathon Porritt will join University academics to speak about and debate the essential issues of why climate change still matters this week.

The programme for the evening will include a drinks reception followed by talks from the three panel members: Jonathon Porritt, Professor Andrew Gouldson, and Professor Andrew Shepherd (both from Earth and Environment).

The discussion will cover a range of topics including ‘innovation in a low carbon future’, ‘should climate change really be a priority in an age of austerity?’ and ‘is global sea level rise the threat we imagine it to be?'.
