The 3rd Degree
We’re looking for academics to take part in BBC Radio 4’s The 3rd Degree, the show which pits three undergraduates against three dons in a general knowledge and specialist subject quiz.
The show is hosted by Steve Punt and it will be coming to Leeds early next year.
The rounds vary between Specialist Knowledge and General Knowledge, quickfire bell-and-buzzer rounds and individual questions and "Highbrow and Lowbrow". Whilst The 3rd Degree has the underlying rigour of a formal quiz, it’s combined with a light-hearted quest to discover how the students will fare against their elders and betters.
