Ponytail physics
An Institute of Physics public lecture is to be held at the University on Monday 19 November which will look at ponytail physics i.e. how to use physics to predict the shape of a ponytail.
The speaker, Professor Patrick Warren, is the recent recipient of an Ig Nobel Prize, which are intended to celebrate the unusual, honor the imaginative and spur peoples interest in science, medicine, and technology.
