Ponytail physics
An Institute of Physics public lecture is to be held at the University on Monday 19 November which will look at ponytail physics i.e. how to use physics to predict the shape of a ponytail.
The speaker, Professor Patrick Warren, is the recent recipient of an Ig Nobel Prize, which are intended to celebrate the unusual, honor the imaginative and spur people’s interest in science, medicine, and technology.
The lecture will take place:

At: 7-8pm
In: Western Lecture Theatre, Leeds University Business School
This event is free and open to all, however all parties containing more than five people are asked to contact Dr Lorna Dougan to reserve seats.
