When pigs fly
The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery invites you to learn how to make marvellous moving mechanisms to illustrate a story, inspired by the fantastical mechanical illustrations of William Heath Robinson.
In this workshop with Claire Evans, you will learn how to use cams and cranks to create simple movements and then attach characters and props to your mechanisms to create anything from a nodding head of a donkey to the flapping wings of a flying pig.
The workshop will take place:
On: Saturday 3 November
At: 2-4pm
In: Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery
This is a free workshop, but places are limited so please book in advance via email, online or by telephone (x32778).
Suitable for ages 6+.
