Winners of the Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Health and Safety 2011 share their stories

A series of ‘Winners’ Workshops’ will enable staff to learn from the experiences of some of the prize-winners and Beacons of good practice from the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Health and Safety 2011.

A series of ‘Winners’ Workshops’ will enable staff to learn from the experiences of some of the prize-winners and Beacons of good practice from the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Health and Safety 2011.

Focusing on the transferable nature of the previous winning projects, the workshops are an opportunity for staff to learn more about the featured projects, explore challenges and how these were addressed, ask questions to those involved and learn how these ideas and approaches could be applied in their own areas of work.

Each short workshop will include case study presentations from previous winners and beacons of good practice, and time for questions and networking:

Emergencies - response and preparation – Friday 26 October, 2.00-4.00pm

Engaging students with health and safety - Tuesday 30 October 10.00-11.00am

IT solutions to critical issues - Wednesday 31 October 10.00am-12.00noon
